There’s a Way Through This

FAQS

  • To find out if you're pregnant, start with a lab-grade pregnancy test that's typically over 99% accurate in detecting pregnancy hormones.

We offer free and confidential tests at our non-profit organization. If eligible, you can also get a non-diagnostic ultrasound at your next appointment to determine how far along you are in your pregnancy.

  • On average, there are two to three days during each menstrual cycle when you ovulate, which is when your body can get pregnant. This typically happens about two weeks after your last period started.

By tracking the time since your last period, you can estimate your ovulation window and potentially when conception occurred.

Alternatively, an ultrasound can provide a more precise date range for conception. Fetuses grow at a consistent rate, allowing ultrasound measurements to determine age more accurately than an ovulation calculator.

  • Just like with any medical procedure, the pain experienced can vary depending on how your body responds to treatment and your personal pain tolerance.

But it's not just personal factors that affect pain levels. The type of abortion procedure and the stage of fetal development also play significant roles in how the procedure may feel.
